Hello all! So sorry I haven't written in a while. So much has been going on! I had to go to SC last week to get some of my nursing license stuff straight, so I just made a short trip home. It was wonderful getting to see some old friends from work and church. I miss y'all!!
I had an interview this week for a part-time position in a PACU (recovery room) about 20 minutes from my house. I was so nervous!! Usually I'm pretty un-flustered when it comes to interviews, but I was coming out of my skin! I was trying to quiz myself (What are some of you strengths? What are some things you need to work on?, etc.) and couldn't think of anything!!! I was praying on the way for the Lord to calm me down and help me think of stuff and...still nothing. So I finally just said, ok, that's enough. It's in Your hands. Well, at the interview they didn't ask me any of those questions. We really just chatted about my PACU experience and what to expect from their PACU. That's it! Nothing at all to worry about! I'm telling you, life is pretty cool when you're on the winning team.
Wilson is doing really well. The ships is incredibly busy, pulling into and out of port. Don't know which ports though. Gotta love the Navy! His schedule has changed somewhat by now. He should be off of his 10pm-2am watch rotation, but that's about all I know. When things calm down a little on the ship, I'll ask him for his schedule again so we can all know how to pray for him! Right now his emails are 1-3 sentences long, so I know he's slammed.
Life is good here. I went to a meeting with the spouses club the other day and made banners for homecoming. Yay! And then I went to game night with some people at church. Haha, kinda hokey but really fun! I've got a busy day ahead, so I need to scoot. But thank you all for your prayers and loving support. I love y'all!
